Replacement Microwave

Our built-in 16 year old Whirlpool microwave finally quit working. This particular model was an exact replacement in size and power, but did not fit the base mounting hardware so I had to buy a new trim kit and use the mounting base. Everything turned out great and I am quite happy. It is very quiet. Hopefully, this microwave will last another 16 years. Never looked at anything other than Whirlpool.

New replacement microwave

It is a good machine. We use it as an "over the oven" installation. I also ordered the trim kit. Of course the new trim kit didn't fit the opening. I managed to modify the old trim kit. It is not optimum, but looks OK.
