Washer is about a month and a half old, so far so good. I like the big capacity, the automatic soap dispenser, and the pretreatment feature especially since I don™™t have a sink in my laundry area. I previously had an LG only lasted 4 years. Hoping I get way more time out of this one or I will be going with speed queen next time.

™ 1 STAR ™" I HATE THIS WASHING MACHINE
I genuinely cannot express how much I regret buying this Whirlpool washing machine. Doing laundry should not require me to babysit the washer through every single load.
EVERY load gets off balance. And I don™™t mean I have to adjust it once and move on with my life. I have to stop what I™™m doing, open the washer, rearrange everything, start it again, and then repeat the process sometimes FOUR OR FIVE TIMES during ONE LOAD.
It doesn™™t matter how carefully I load it. I can redistribute everything perfectly, and somehow this machine still manages to get itself off balance again. Washing a simple load of laundry has turned into an aggravating, ridiculous chore because I can™™t just start the washer and walk away.
At this point, I spend more time adjusting the clothes than the machine spends successfully spinning them.
If you™™re considering buying this washer, DON™™T. Unless your idea of doing laundry involves standing nearby waiting for your washing machine to throw another tantrum, save yourself the frustration and buy something else.
I™™ve owned washing machines before. I™™ve done laundry my entire adult life. I have NEVER had to babysit a washer like this one.
If throwing appliances off cliffs were an acceptable return policy, this Whirlpool would already be airborne.
Absolutely would not recommend.

I brought this machine in July 2026 for the sole purpose that I could remove the agitator if needed.
The machine doesn™™t clean the clothes, the agitator doesn™™t work as a regular agitator. The clothes stay in the same spot, and don™™t come out clean. The machine did not come with a user manual. Very difficult to figure out its functionality.

I currently have my washer for deep water and heavy soil and when the wash cycle starts the clothes are not covered with water. When the agitator starts it looks like a mixer mixing a heavy bread dough. My clothes do not come out smeel or looking clean. I have wasted more water and soap trying yo get my clothes clean. I did not over load my washer so that is not the problem. I have rated the washer at a 1. Would no buy again.

Had a Whirlpool Cabrio which lasted 15 years. This is the replacement, fingers crossed. I have had very good luck with Whirlpools and have a Whirlpool dryer as well.
So far so good. We are still getting used to the newer electronics and had an issue with the soap dispenser not dispensing the soap into the washer. I believe the washer was not balanced and was able to figure out how to adjust the corners. Seems to be dispensing the soap properly. The agitation cycle seems to be a bit slower/gentler than the Cabrio model. Not sure if that is a good thing. We selected this model for its larger capacity for when we clean bed comforters and large towels. We'll see.
Overall we like this Whirlpool and have had success over the years with our Whirlpool appliances.

Complete trash of a washing machine. It totally crapped out after 3 years... replaced every component (control board, control panel, drain pump, etc) and still no luck. Even had a tech come out and tell me we did everything he would have tried. Do NOT buy this trash!

DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER! I purchased this washer on March 3, 2026 and the mother board has already gone out. After doing some research, I found out this is a constant problem. The repairman came out this week to tell me that's the problem and it will be 2 WEEKS before he can get the part. So I'm supposed to go to the laundry mat for the next 2 WEEKS because Whirlpool now makes inferior products. I grew up with Whirlpool but not anymore.

This is the best-ever washer! It has every cycle that I will ever need. One of its capabilities that is important to me is the extra-gentle handling of hand-washable items. Another important capability is the huge capacity, large enough for a very fluffy comforter. The washer tells me how long the cycle will take, and signals when it is done. Even though there are many options, the controls are easy to learn.

Major upgrade from the washer my wife and I previously had. It™™s quieter by far and has been better at cleaning the laundry we have put in it to this point. It™™s only been a couple of months of ownership, we would still highly recommend just based off it being quieter and more efficient.

Love the large capacity and the ability to remove the agitator for delicates and large comforters.it sounds like an inkjet printer running when filling and some spin cycles. Final spin sounds like a normal washer spin. You™™ll want to close the bathroom door to block out the typical washer noise. Not excessively load. The cycles aren™™t very clear about what to use for what purpose. The instructions mainly tell you to just use the normal cycle for almost all washing, which makes me wonder what the other settings are really for. Love the delay start so Incan get the wash going before I wake up or return from work. Then just pop it in the dryer. The load and go feature helps with this. We did have an issue with the glass lid peeling up after a month, but amazingly whirlpool sent a repair person out quickly and replaced the lid at no cost. Seems to have become unglued. Very different from my experience with whirlpool and the delivery which was very frustrating.

This machine must have been a defect as clothes were not coming out clean. There would be pieces of fabric booster that came with the machine what were still stuck to the clothes. The machine made horrible sounds. They sounded as if the wash grinding gears. Tge machine has been return and a different machine purchased

It™™s noisy but I washers well. The controls are hard to figure out. The load and go said to fill or disable every wash. Can™™t figure out how to turn that off. Must tell it each load to use fabric softener also. Seems like it should know when it has softener in it on its own. Over all it™™s doing a good job cleaner the clothes

We like the ease of selecting washing options. The spin cycle is much quieter than our old high-efficiency machine. The reservoir for detergent is an excellent feature. The tub handles big loads, but it™™s really deep, so anyone of a smaller stature might need help emptying it. Overall we are happy with our purchase.

Had the washer for one week. Installation was simple with a pair of channel lock pilers to ensure everything was snug. Also used a level on top of the washer and adjusted the feet to minimize out of balance loads. Clothes come out clean.

I have only had this washer for a couple of weeks, but based on my ownership, I would say that it is middle of the road as compared to other washers I have owned. The removable agitator feature sounds like a great idea, but my observations of the washer show very little movement of bed covers when the washer is running. When the agitaor is installed it doesn't appear to be much b etter on clothes.
The washer is much noisier than the washer it replaced, a much less expensive Maytag. The washer set on normal cycle with warm water constantly makes clunky noise when its valves are starting and stopping letting warm water run in the washer. The washing cycle is very noisy. I am not satisfied thus far with this washer and based on the agitation of the clothes and the noise this machine makes, I would probably not purchase this washer dryer set again. I can only hope that it will be reliable and that the electronic panel will last.

Load often gets unbalanced. Don't know how to 'pause' cycle to readjust, it starts cycle over and goes into the same unbalanced cycle. Trying to find a OWNER'S MANUAL with ANY information is impossible. VERY DISSATISFIED with this product and Whirlpool in general.

I am 50 years of age and I™™ve had several washing machines in my time on this earth and this machine is hands down the worst machine that has ever been created. Water fill Horrible, time to fill Horrible, soap dispenser Horrible, washing capabilities Horrible, leaves soap scum on clothing. The simple task of washing this machine has missed the mark by hundreds of miles. I at times want to have this machine demolished at a junk yard. If I could give this machine -5 stars I would. It is a travesty and the price on this pile of junk is ridiculous. Whirlpool you have sh&t the bed on this model for sure. This machine is an absolute Joke and it shouldn™™t be called a washing machine. I was being as nice as possible in this review.

Goes off balance to easily with large loads as do all the whirlpool washers I've ever owned. Loads have been dispersed evenly and within the "large capacity" limit. Disappointing for a quite simple machine. Your engineers need to work harder on their design.

This washer didn™™t even last two months of home use with a family of 3. I just ordered parts from a 3rd party because the ui display board I need is back ordered and out of stock. This is a regular issue and if I could return the entire unit I would. Absolutely terrible product and terrible to disassemble. So disappointing that our $1200 washer failed already. After reading about how abysmal whirlpools customer service is I decided my family needs clean laundry and bought the part from another party. If I have another issue with this machine I will have to finance another machine because our savings went into this one. I warn everyone to please avoid this brand and this model. Idk what we were thinking

We got this washer and dryer set from our builder and both the washer and dryer have needed major repair and they are 5 weeks old. The motherboard on both have stopped working, first the dryer now the washer. It is covered under warranty but it's a huge pain, lots of time spent on hold, multiple visits by appliance repair, no washer or dryer for at least a week each, and every warranty request is peppered with incessant hounding to get you to buy their extended warranty. Literally about 5 times a call they ask you to buy their extended warranty and keep asking you why you aren't. It's so extremely off putting. Can't recommend this at all and really not happy with whirlpool overall.

We bought this a few years ago. Since day 1, it hasn't washed clothes as it should. The water doesn't fill as high as it should, even on a heavy duty/deep wash. Clothes come out still dirty after a wash.
The other major issue we have had only 2 years after having our machine is that it is seriously as loud as a fright train. One of the bearings must have gone and you cannot even hear yourself think while it is running. My husband's coworker has the same machine and says his is also having the same issues. Don't buy, spend your money on something better.

I previously owned an Bosch front load washer. The difference I have encountered with the top load systems versus the front load systems is the need to balance the load more in the top load washers. That would be one area Whirlpool might consider investing in is a system that has the capability of self-balancing.

The lock mechanism intermittently works so I have to put weights on top of the washer for it to work and then it only works half the time. One of the weights fell off and cracked my tile. This washer sucks. And the heating element in my matching Whirlpool dryer just broke too! I have had this set for about six months!

My first washer was in 1982 and a GE. It was in our kitchen. I never took note of it being this noisy. Not a fan of the Load And Go, either. It won't let you add the liquid detergent for each load as you normally would. My confidence level that the load is getting the proper amount of detergent is low.

I got this washer about a month ago and have used it twice. I wish the manuel came with it because the website is not giving me instructions either. It loaded water, said it was soaking my clothes for over 3 hours, then it emptied and refilled. This is terrible, not I am trying to wash a delicate load and found liquid detergent from my last wash still in there. I pushed to power on, chose delicate, cold, all the lights went out and it is doing nothing. I called in and was only referred to this sight which i not helping. PLEASE HELP

There is really nothing I like about this washer other than the tub size which you could have gotten from other brands that work better. Purchased Whirlpool because that's what the local appliance store sells. Which rather have a GE and wish I would have just gone to Lowe's to get a GE set. The Load and Go soap dispense is a joke. Super finicky to use if you don't keep it completely full, so you're still adding detergent all the time. After one load it tells you it's low and needs more detergent added. What's the point if you have to keep adding detergent. When it puts the detergent onto the clothes, it puts it out on dry clothes. It puts a small amount of water in the tub around the outside circle and then stops running water and squirts soap on the inner circle and then the soap just sits on dry clothes for the presoak stage. Yes, I know you can shut off load and go and add detergent directly to the tub. Why have an expensive feature that works so poorly. And don't get me started on all the buttons you have to push. Yes, they are like touch screen computer buttons, but a normal washer you set your cycle and push start. You have to turn the power on, then select multiple items and then hold a start button for a complete 3 second countdown. Three seconds doesn't sound like a lot unless you want to just push a button and walk away. This machine takes too much time. I don't like it at all. Way overpriced and under delivers and seems to just beat the tar out the clothes. It says it has a delicate cycle but it's an aggressive delicate cycle. If you're on the fence, you've been warned. Would be fine if you have mainly heavily soiled, super durable garments to launder. Also very loud.

Our new machine was delivered missing a key part which cause much noise when the machine was operated. The seller dispatched a repair person the same day to install the missing part. The machine worked well for three months, and then started making the loud noise again. Warranty repair was scheduled and the repair person came today and more parts are needed to make it operable again. I called Whirlpool to discuss the repeated issues and my frustrations and they are unwilling to extend the warranty at no cost. This is the worse washing machine I've owned and I'm 66 and have owned many washing machines in my life.

Called because no manual w machine. Language was in Spanish and no instructions to reset. Said they would send a manual and never received it. Should not have to go online to see how to work all options. For what i paid they could at least print a manual. Helped me by calling support by on phone for hours. Still no manual after they said would send one. I dont want to pront one off of he internet
